Close your Crushie account

You can ask for the account, and the personal information tied to it, to be permanently removed.

01Close it in the app

  1. Open Crushie and sign in to the account you want closed.
  2. Open Me → Settings → Close this account.
  3. Read the notice, then confirm.

If you cannot sign in, use email instead.

02Request it by email

Write from the email address on the account. Subject line: Crushie account closure. Include the username if you still have it.

Email a closure request

We may ask for a few account details to confirm you own it. Do not send a password, a card number, or a government ID unless support explains why the law requires it.

03What is removed

  • Profile and sign-in details
  • Posts and uploaded media
  • In-app preferences and activity linked to the account
  • Messages on your account, subject to copies already held by recipients and records the law requires us to keep

04Timing and retention

A verified request is usually finished within 30 days. Limited security, fraud, or dispute records may remain for up to 90 days. Records a statute requires, including some transaction records, stay for that period and are then deleted or de-identified.

Closing Crushie does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel that separately in Google Play.
